Carrie Prejean

Carrie Prejean, Miss California 2009, was first runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant on April 19, 2009.

Carrie Prejean is a member of the San Diego Padres “Pad Squad” chicks, and was Miss Greater San Diego in 2007.

A lot of people would like to know Carrie Prejean. Here’s your chance, if you want to take a shot at friending her at Carrie Prejean’s MySpace profile.

Is Carrie Prejean bumping uglies with Michael Phelps?

Prejean has been dating Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

“Carrie and Michael have been out to baseball games and lunch,” Prejean’s grandmother said. “He always calls her when he is in town and they go out.”

“Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn’t serious about being in a relationship with him,” she added. “He’s a nice guy and she likes him.”

Earlier in the week, Prejean was coy when first asked to address the rumors of a relationship with Phelps, dodging a Miss USA host’s questions by replying:

“That’s not appropriate to answer right now. He’s a great man … You can call me on a later day and we can talk about that.”

Attack of the GAYdars

Prejean, a blonde student was a favourite to win the Miss USA title at the pageant held in Las Vegas and shown on live TV. She made it to the final 15 and had to answer a question from one of the five judges.

Prejean chose gay celebrity-blogger Perez Hilton, who calls himself the ‘queen of all media’.

Hilton asked her: “Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalise same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”

[Yikes! radioactive question alert. Now is this really within the 21 year old student's sphere of expertise?]

Prejean replied: “Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage.”

She continued: “And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be - between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

Check out the full video of Prejean and Perez Hilton’s interaction below:

There was speculation the reply may have cost Prejean the Miss USA title. Donald Trump said as much. She was runner-up, and Miss North Carolina, Kristen Dalton, won the title.

Unimpressed to say the least, Hilton said her answer was the worst in pageant history and the drama queen then described Prejean as a “dumb b****” on his blog. He also described her as having ‘half a brain’ and said he would have stormed onto the stage and ripped off her tiara had she won.

This author thought her answer was ok. Hey, at least Prejean answered honestly. You have to respect her right to free speech and we can’t expect beauty queens to speak as elegantly as say, a Secretary of State. Prejean  refused to pander to a sensationalist, attention seeking, ragingly gay guest-judge just to win a title, and for that she deserves some credit.

Carrie Prejean, at least, gave an honest answer and should not have been punished for doing so. The general public has to listen to gays talk about their rights every day.

If God wanted two men to be sexually involved or commited to each other why did he create a woman from a man’s rib. Why didn’t he just create another man?

I agree with Carrie Prejean that marriage should be between a man and a woman. If two men or two women want to live together thats their business but stop flaunting your sex life in our faces, on a daily basis the public has to hear about it. The statements and name calling that Hilton did was obnoxious and tantrum throwing.

I have the same measures as her (without a boob job) a higher pitched voice and a waist that is .5″ smaller

    (and pretty face, tee hee)

    wheres my modeling contract?

    Oh wait, im short hehehe

Good for her. She stated how she believed and did not say that others couldn’t just that that is not the way she looked at it. Hilton was the one out of line having to validate his choices on national platforms. He is nothing more than pathetic. He fully represents the gay communities stigma of “weak and unstable” He is the one that faulted her for her beliefs.

  • Jack said:

Your absolutely right. This Perez gay guy is way out of line calling her a stupid b****. He doesn’t have to agree her. But its her opinion on a controversial issue. T

carrie prejean tried to say the answer to the question that gay Perez Hilton asked fair and honestly as possible!!! i think she did loose her chance to win the Pageant by saying the remark thats not right.. freedom of expression means the freedom to express ones discontent with the status quo and the desire to change it. marriage should be between a man & women its in the bible …gays shouldnt have that right .also the photos are tasteful shes a beautiful girl gay perez hilton probable jealous he cant look like a women so he expose the photo to get her back for the remark !!carrie prejean get a lawyer and sue take a legal action against the pageant :)..

  • Tim said:

True, we shouldn’t pander to gay, however minority they may be. Cheers To Carrie!!!!

I admire her answer and courage! I encourage all young people out there to avoid the stampede into same-sex marriage. Same-sex marriage will lead to an awful moral decadence in our society!

  • Richard H Boyer said:

right answer, as I agree with the pretty women.

The Gay Mafia wished for tolerance;they received tolerance. That battle won they wanted acceptance(an entirely different thing), now the virulent Gay lobby wishes to brainwash everyone into intoning the Mantra “It is up to each individual….etc etc blah blah blah ……” Well as soon as anyone ,in the Land of Free Speech, exercises their constitutional right to disagree in a non violent way, then it gets nasty As we have seen every shrewish man hating Lesbian and every shrill Gay man expresses (violently) the desire to hurt or insult those of an opposing view. Stalin and Mao and Hitler had camps for those who opposed them .Is that the Gay lobby’s next move? The vocal minority view is strengthened by numbers in the Media and Hollywood,if only the Majority, moral or otherwise, had their numbers!

I dont care about homosexuals and lesbians maybe they should keep it to themselves what they are, I dont want to hear about it.
You are just trying to get an extension of the benefits (if any) of marriage for some financial gain or tax break. I think she is correct in her opinion. We need more of Carrie and less of Perez.

I don’t think that she loose her crown and Title! The answer she gave, I think was totally HONEST. I further wish to state that Mr. Perez Hilton is an asshole and should not have been a judge in this contest.

I wish to state that Ms. Carrie Prejean is one beautiful woman. I did not watch the contest; but, in the news clips of her she was well poised. I also think that her answer was not racist at all; I believe that Mr. Perez Hilton is definitely a racist for even asking such a question. I certainly expect him in asking a question that he asked he interpreted an answer that was as racist so he can interpred Carrie’s answer as being recist.

    honest?…I’m confident it was.
    Ignorant?…that too.

  • Mark said:

Naked pictures (numerous times), lying on applications, breaking rules on political and religious advocacy, and just plain fake crying to get more attention.
I wonder how she persuaded “The Donald” to intercede on her behalf? The answer is probably too lewd to pass muster here.
You’ve got your crown, now STFU and go away, bimbo.

What Hilton should have done was do a follow-up and asked if their should be inter-racial marriages. Find out if she only discriminates at sexual preference or if she discriminates on race too.

  • k said:

she is so friggin’ hawt. homophobic, but hawt. she still deserves what she gets for being an ass.

  • julie said:

I agree she has the right to state her own opinion. But she is pretty dumb for contradicting herself in her own ‘honest’ answer. She thinks it’s great American people have the option to choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage [whatever that is], but doesn’t think it’s a great idea for her country? So is she not American…? Was she starting to lie, but then changed her mind? Yeah, DUMB.

And for those of you who claim Trump was wrong when he said she has the same belief as President Obama, you’re wrong. Obama DOES NOT believe in gay marriage. But guess what. He’s actually logical in his reasoning, and knows that he shouldn’t force his beliefs on other people by way of law. So yeah, he is against laws forbidding gay marriage/equal rights.

It is totally ok to have your own beliefs, but when you start inhibiting people’s rights as a result of them, a line has been crossed. (This is also why I’m against laws like making an adult wear a seat belt) Laws that inhibit people’s rights, be they self-endangering or not, is not constitutional. This doesn’t mean I’m against laws that protect others. Laws making parents strap their kids in, prohibiting driving under the influence, etc…are necessary to protect other people. But a law making it so gay people can’t marry? Not necessary. Their marriage is not endangering anyone, and this law only protects someones personal belief. It’s like saying you want a law forcing all black people to be slaves because ‘that’s what you believe is right’ and ‘that’s how you were raised.’ Who cares how you see things? If the people aren’t hurting anyone, fuck off!

Wow, I’m really good at going off on tangents. Sorry.

The fact that people continually tune into watching a “beauty pageant” - where, for so long, one has been expected to stare at plastic girls giving asinine answers - can only be indicative of how boring, ignorant and pointless the audience of these things are.

So why was she asked the question in the first place? I presume Mr Hilton (or is he the ‘Mrs’ in his relationship?) expected to hear her say “Yes” and when she didn’t…. shock-horror: a beauty queen has an opinion.

I don’t mind if somebody has a less than normal sexual tendency, as long as they don’t harm anyone/anything else and don’t proselytise at me about it.
The tendency for today’s gay lobby is to have their cake and eat it. Either someone is the same as the next person (i.e. any differences are private) or they are not the same (i.e. their differences are public).

Wake the F–k up people. Why is it that everyone tries to change what has worked for decades. Grant it times change, people who want to choose their lifestyles may do so and not tread or push onto others that don’t believe. Just do it in your own homes, Not in public. We don’t want to see it. Every time I go out and see one of you gays, you look at males like we look at woman, F–k off! As stated, I have seen others and they have just the same outcome as do the wife and husband. They argue and bicker at everything and cry over spilled milk. Get a clue and keep it to yourselves. If others are interested, they will let you know, don’t go out and try to look for it. Preying on little boys. Your just pedophiles. It’s that simple. Your not happy with yourself, don’t bring others to your level of misery.

Hey Carrie Prejean stated what she believed in. Perez Hilton is one dirty little weasel that wanted Carrie to promote the gay agenda, and when Carrie stood up for her Christian values, the guy was livid that his plan blew up in his face. Hilton then proceeded to persecute the girl because he didn’t get what he wanted.

    Carrie’s my Miss USA

Why on earth would the pageant allow that little weasel to be a judge anyway?

Sometimes you have to stand up and be counted. God Bless Carrie Prejean
